Dr. Mahendra Mehta is the Managing Director and CEO of NeuralTechSoft, a company based in Mumbai(India). For over two and half decades, he has been involved in financial consultancy, training and analytics & application of machine learning techniques in solving problems related to forecasting of financial variables. He has taught courses on Treasury Business & Products, Risk Management, Basel Accord, Stress Testing and machine learning techniques in more than 25 countries around the world.

Dr. Mahendra Mehta (Mathematics)

Prior to starting Neural TechSoft Dr Mehta worked with Citibank for over 14 years, as head of analytics and head of derivatives, across several countries,.He was involved in the development of machine based trading strategies in foreign exchange,interest rate and derivative markets. He headed the team involved in the development of an autonomous trading machine for automatic trading in financial markets. He also worked extensively with the Citibank team in Tokyo, London, Hong Kong and New York on the application of machine learning strategies to financial markets.

Dr Mehta began his career with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Hyderabad, India, where he was involved in tracking system development of Light Combat Aircraft weapon systems as well as the development of the Avionics systems for fighter aircrafts, Adaptive Kalman Filter for multiple targets, etc. During the last part of his tenure in HAL, he was heading a team of people involved in the development of an on board computer for the Prithvi Missile – a medium range surface-to-surface missile - with Dr. Abdul Kalam.

Dr Mehta has more than 20 research papers to his credit, mainly in Estimation Sciences & Theory as applied to Avionics and Space Sciences. He has served as guest faculty at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich, Switzerland and at the London Business School. He has contributed to the book, Neural Networks in the Capital Markets, published by Wiley & Sons in 1995.

An Electrical Engineer specializing in Control and Estimation theory, Dr Mehta completed his Ph.D. in “Tracking of Multiple targets using Airborne Radar” from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, India.

Dr Anitha Pathak

Dr. Anitha Ramanna-Pathak (Macroeconomics)

Dr. Anitha Ramanna-Pathak is Assistant Professor and Manager, Quality Assurance at S P Jain School of Global Management.

Anitha has a Ph.D. in International Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, and a post-doctoral fellowship from the International Food Policy Research Institute, Washington, D.C. She completed her M.Phil. in International Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University and her Masters in Political Science from Bangalore University.

Anitha is a Fulbright scholar and was affiliated with the University of California, Berkeley and Harvard University in 1998-99. She was C R Parekh Fellow with the Asia Research Centre, London School of Economics and Political Science in 2005. She has worked as a research consultant with the Fridtjof Nansen Institute, Norway and South Asia Watch on Trade and Environment (SAWTEE),Nepal.

She has previously taught at Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research, Symbiosis Institute of International Business, Symbiosis School of Economics and University of Pune. Courses she has taught include: Business, Government and the Global Political Economy, Issues in Political Economy and Development, International Political Economy and International Studies.

Her research interests focus on Intellectual Property Rights, International Relations, International Political Economy, Public Policy, International Business and Business-Government relations. Her articles have been published in journals such as the Journal of World Intellectual Property, International Journal of Technology Management, Development Policy Review and Asian Biotechnology and Development Review.

Villie Daruvala

Ms. Villie Daruvala (Business English Writing)

Villie Daruvala is Adjunct Faculty at S P Jain School of Global Management. Her core competence is in the field of Business Communication.

Villie is a graduate in commerce and general law and holds a post-graduate diploma in management studies from the University of Mumbai. She has completed the IATA-FIATA Introductory Course and holds a Business English Certificate (BEC) - Higher, University of Cambridge. She is also a certified Voice and Accent Trainer.

Currently, Consultant – Training & Communication, Villie has over two decades of experience in the corporate world. She works as a Consultant and Corporate Trainer in soft skills, designing and delivering training customized to the needs of the client company. She has undertaken training assignments for reputed companies in the consultancy, logistics, manufacturing, services, pharmaceutical, retail and banking sectors.

She has previously worked with The Associated Cement Companies Ltd. (ACC), Trigyn Tecnologies and the Jetair Group of Companies. She was Visiting Faculty for the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai.

Her work has spanned management education, training, communication, human resources, organisation development, customer service and content creation.

Villie has a passion for writing, yoga and travelling. She is Vice Chairperson, Women Entrepreneurs (WE), a Wing of the World Zarathusti Chamber of Commerce (WZCC). She counsels cancer patients on a voluntary basis and was a volunteer-teacher for the Teach India Programme.

Mr.Milind Soman

Mr. Milind Soman (Computer Skills)

Milind Soman is Founder Director & Chief Operating Officer at Lumière Business Solutions Pvt.Ltd. Lumière has been actively working in providing advisory & research services in over 15 Industry verticals including consulting. We work to improve efficiencies in the CSR sector, as well as advise and mentor startups.

A Mechanical Engineer by training with Masters in Management Studies (Marketing), Milind is a Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA) and has over 25 years of industry experience in providing technology solutions to various sectors including Banks and Financial institutions. He has rich experience in independently running Profit Centers. Milind has been a member of the Leadership team at iGflex Solutions and a key member of various workgroups to facilitate internal change management, improve workplace diversity as well as respect at workplace. He was Managing Principal – Program Management at iGflex Solutions with global responsibility for business & delivery. He was Country Head for Technology & Organization Development at Credit Lyonnais Bank in India and has worked at Price Waterhouse Associates at Kingston, Jamaica, in their Technology Consulting practice.

He has diverse experience in the use and deployment of technology for business with skills in the areas of Program Management, IT Strategy & Strategic Relationship Management. He has extensive experience in formulating & implementing compliance policies and developing incubation cells for new initiatives & strategies for organization development & growth. He has travelled extensively providing consulting services in the areas of Program Management, Change Management, Product implementations, Services Solutions and Business Process Management.

Milind is associated with various Management Institutes in India. He is on the advisory board of studies at ITM and SP Jain. He and his wife Deepa have 2 children and they love playing golf, travelling & have a keen interest in nature observation.

Piya Mukherjee

Ms. Piya Mukherjee (World Culture)

An Academician, a corporate trainer, writer and a former investment banker, Piya Mukherjee (MBA –Finance) works in areas such as ethics and values in business, cross-cultural sensitization, intercultural competence and life skills.

Over the last 15 years, she has worked as a trainer with several reputed Indian organizations, such as TCS, Reserve Bank of India (RBI), The Taj Hotels, Resorts & Palaces, Larsen and Toubro Ltd, J.W. Marriott Group of Hotels, Leela Hotel, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, Trident-Oberoi Group of Hotels, Accor Hotels – Novotel – Hyderabad, Aptech Ltd., Hexaware Technologies Ltd., Shipping Corporation of India, Government of Maharashtra.

As visiting faculty since 1997, she has worked with Institutes such as Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research (SIMSR) and VES Institute of Management Studies and Research (VESIMSR). With the S P Jain School of Management, she has been a visiting faculty at Singapore and Dubai, and also worked with several groups of visiting MBA students of University of New South Wales, Australia and IE International Institute, Madrid (Spain).

For the last 5 years, she has been working as the Founder - Director – Vivekanand Education Society’s Leadership Academy and Re-search Centre (VESLARC) – which is part of the 50-year group of educational institutes, Vivekanand Education Society. Working with a team of managers, counsellors and training experts, she has conceptualised and created several programmes for the 18,000 students of the VES group. As lead-trainer, she has personally conducted over 200 workshops for students, teachers, parents and non-teaching staff.

Her interests in writing have helped her contribute over 100 articles to publications such as The Economic Times, The Speaking Tree, Femina, websites and academic journals. Piya has recently published two cases on ethics, for an international project “Giving Voice to Values”, under Babson College, USA. The GVV covers more than 80 countries.

Piya holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai University, and a certificate on “Management by Human Values and ethics – Indian insights”, at the Management Centre for Human Values, IIM – Kolkata.

She is a student of Advait Vedanta, has received inputs on yogasana, reiki, the Art of Living, and T’ai chi; and loves to delve into Zen Buddhism and holistic healing practices.

Dr.Sanjyot Pethe

Dr.Sanjyot Pethe (Principles of Management)

Dr. Sanjyot Pethe is associated with SP Jain School of Global Management as a faculty for “Principles of Management.”

Dr. Sanjyot Pethe holds a doctorate in Management from Devi Ahilya University, Indore. She is also a certified coach from Leadership That Works (USA) and accredited by International coach Federation (ACC from ICF). She also holds certifications in various psychometric tools.

Currently an independent leadership development consultant and coach, she has 10 years of experience in academic institutions and 10 years of experiences in corporate. Her last stint was Dy. Head - Leadership and Talent Development at L&T Infotech.

She has contributed to research and has published several papers in national and international journal.
Her work spans in the area of leadership development, organizational development, competency frameworks and personal transformation She has a passion for reading and writing. She has published a book of poems.
