S P Jain President Mr. Nitish Jain was recently being invited by the Honorable Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to join his official CEO delegation to Australia. Mr. Jain was a member of a high-powered group that included Anand Mahindra of the Mahindra Group, Shashi Ruia, Chairman of the Essar Group, Gautam Adani of the Adani group, BP Rao of BHEL, Vishal Sikka of Infosys, Mrs. Arundhati Bhattacharya, Chairperson of the State Bank of India, and several other top Indian business leaders.

During the three-day trip that spanned Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, Mr. Jain had the opportunity to introduce S P Jain and share the School’s recent achievements with some of the world’s most renowned business and community leaders. Mr. Jain also had the opportunity to share his ideas and thoughts on strengthening Indo-Australian business ties through education and pitch his unique ‘Learn in India’ campaign to the Indian Prime Minister.

Sharing more details about ‘Learn in India’, Mr. Jain said, “The Prime Minister is actively promoting his ‘Make in India’ agenda. But to many foreigners, India is perceived as being a difficult place to conduct business. My objective is to use education to ‘de-mystify’ India and to get more people comfortable and excited about the idea of doing business in India.” Reacting positively to the campaign, the Indian PM urged Mr. Jain to share a detailed plan of action with the Indian government.
