Everything you need to know before joining
I have lived in Hong Kong for the last couple of years, attending LPC United World College. I enjoy travelling and have been to places like Istanbul, Phnom Pehn, Perth, Kuala Lumpur and many more. Running is also a big part of my life- I have participated in some endurance events such as half marathons and 24-hour races. The other sports that I have been engaged in are rugby, football, dragon boat and dragon dance. Language-wise, I speak English and Japanese fluently, and a little bit of Spanish, Mandarin and Cantonese (if countable). I have enrolled myself in various activities pertaining often to humanitarian issues like human trafficking, child labour and peripheral poverty- two examples would be Running to Stop the Traffik, an entirely student-driven athletic organisation that combats human trafficking across Asia, especially Nepal, and Free The Children, an international movement to tackle child poverty and the lack of education. I consider myself to be open-minded, having grown in incredibly multicultural environments. I very much look forward to getting to know you all!
